About Us

Daniel Salmon, Utah Regional Manager

Before joining TRP, Daniel worked for 12 years as a news reporter/cameraman in Colorado and Utah. His passion for reuse grew from covering stories about wasted materials, system inefficiency and environmental impacts. No stranger to construction work, Daniel has completed several home renovation and landscape projects. He is the founder of Material Resources, a waste and excess material solutions company that emphasizes reuse options. Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Colorado and is completing a master’s degree in Sustainability Policy from the University of Utah. When he’s not working, you’re likely to find Daniel skiing Utah’s superlative slopes or growing giant sunflowers in his garden.
